South Africas national soccer team Bafana Bafana has slipped further down the FIFA world rankings from 59th to 61st.
The slide comes despite the teams impressive performance in their 3-1 international friendly win against Zambia on 15 November.
It also comes about two weeks before the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals draw scheduled for 5 December. The latest rankings will influence who Bafana are grouped with in the prestigious global tournament.
