The African National Congress ANC in Gauteng has sent out its condolences to the family of former Gauteng Health MEC Brian Hlongwa.
Hlongwa died in hospital on Tuesday following an illness.
He was an MEC from 2006 to 2009 and later became the ANCs Chief Whip in the provincial legislature.
