AmaWaterways launched its second ship on the Magdalena River last month, with AmaMelodia now joining sister ship AmaMagdalena for river voyages in Colombia.
AmaMelodia can accommodate up to 64 guests. The main restaurant offers locally inspired cuisine and the main lounge provides music and entertainment in the evenings. The ship also has a whirlpool on the Sun Deck.
The ship is sailing two seven-night itineraries, Magic of Colombia and Wonders of Colombia, offering a range of excursions, including private performances of the Barranquilla Carnival, an exclusive jazz concert in Mompox, and a visit to Palenque.
