Atalanta forward, Ademola Lookman scored the winning penalty as Nigeria won their ninth Bronze at the Africa Cup of Nations AFCON with a 4-2 scoreline after the match had ended goalless in 90 minutes, Softfootball reports.
The Super Eagles lost via penalties against Morocco in the semifinal of the competition while Egypt suffered a 1-0 defeat against Senegal at the same stage. So, it was winner takes all between the two sides when they met at the Stade Mohammed V, Casablanca.
