Limpopo police say they have arrested four suspects in connection with the apparent abduction of a 72-year-old elderly man to an initiation school.
Matlankane Mathobela had been abducted to an initiation school at Ga-Mamatsha village east of Polokwane a week ago.
Mathobela alleges that he was assaulted and circumcised against his will. He was eventually rescued by the Traditional Affairs authorities a day after he was abducted.
Police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says the suspects will appear in court soon.
