Legendary Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh was honored as the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, which is also known as the New Chandigarh Stadium in Mullanpur, hosted its first-ever men's international game on Thursday, December 11.
The New Chandigarh Stadium turned into a festive scene as the Indian women's cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Yuvraj Singh were honored with stadium stands named after them just before the second T20I between India and South Africa.
