Murder charges have been dropped against Moja Love television presenter Xolani Khumalo , allowing him to return as the host of the popular show Sizokthola.
Channel, Moja Love had terminated its working relationship with Khumalo in November 2023 , but they have now made a u-turn on that decision.
In a statement, Moja Love announced that the fourth season of Sizokthola would return with an old favourite, Xolani Khumalo, on screen. Season three of the show was hosted by X-Repo presenter Xolani Maphanga.
Khumalo had been facing charges of murder, robbery, and damage to property after Robert Varrie was allegedly assaulted in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni, in July 2023. On Monday, the charges were provisionally withdrawn to allow the state to continue its investigation.
The presenter expressed how he is grateful to be back on the channel, a place that is home to him.
