Wet weather is making driving dangerous in the Western Cape, and officials are telling drivers to be more careful because rain is still causing problems on important roads, Cape townEtc reports.
Provincial Traffic Services report that the risk of crashes is rising due to wet road surfaces and lower visibility , even though traffic movement is still mostly steady right now .
Traffic officers have also been deployed along key routes to monitor conditions and respond quickly to incidents should they occur, according to the Western Cape Mobility Departement .
