Namibia inaugurated the Dr Hage G Geingob Freeway, which connects Windhoek to Hosea Kutako International Airport, on November 10.
The road, renamed in August 2024 in honour of late former President Hage G Geingob , aims to improve travel efficiency, travel time and road safety.
The initiative was funded by the Nambian government with support from China, which provided a grant for the project.
