The Western Cape Department of Mobility says it is anticipating an increase in traffic volumes across the province over to the long weekend.
The Departments Traffic Chief, Maxine Bezuidenhout says speeding continues to pose a major risk on roads.
She has cautioned both motorists and pedestrians to stay alert and to make responsible decisions.
