The Western Cape Department of Mobility says 19 people have lost their lives on the provinces roads over the Easter weekend compared to the 22 fatalities during the same period last year.
Western Cape Minister of Mobility, Isaac Sileku, says this is a 14 drop in road deaths this year.
Sileku says 108 motorists had been arrested for driving under the influence.
