Fast food restaurant chain Steers says it has issued a formal notice to a franchisee whose manager asked staff to perform gardening tasks.
A video of the incident, which reportedly took place on 7 January, has gone viral on social media in recent days. It showed a concerned member of the public attempting to intervene to stop alleged abuse of the staff members, who are reportedly chefs.
