Cape Town singer Robin J Pieters has shared how an Elsies River smash-and-grab left him with injured ribs after he chased the suspect across a school field, reports Cape town Etc .
In a social media post, Pieters said he was on his way to rehearsal and checking directions on his phone when a young man took his device. He said he is in touch with his doctor and is monitoring the injury closely.
Pieters said the people near the flats where the suspect ran were kind but warned him to leave because the area was dangerous. He also used the post to share a message of grace, writing, I'm not angry , Still standing. Still trusting. Still believing and Please keep me in your prayers.
