Former National Assembly Speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula was visibly emotional as her corruption case was postponed to 21 November 2025 for consultation.
Mapisa-Nqakula appeared at the Pretoria high court on Monday 18 August.
She is facing 12 counts of corruption and money laundering. The state alleges that she solicited and received R4.5 million from a Department of Defence contractor, with R2.1 million allegedly received as cash.
