Cape Town's V A Waterfront is gearing up to make this festive season easier for visitors, as sections of the precinct's roads currently closed for upgrades are set to reopen from the end of this week, Cape town Etc reports.
The changes will cover lanes along Dock Road, key traffic circles, and the entrance from Green Point Stadium, allowing tourists and locals to navigate the area with less congestion.
We aim to allow visitors to move around more freely during our busiest time. Key traffic circles will start reopening from the end of this week. We are also mindful of the upcoming Cape Town Marathon and the Red Bull Flugtag, a major international event taking place at the Waterfront in November. By then, all lanes and traffic circles will be fully operational, said Donald Kau, Head of PR Communications at the V A Waterfront.
