In a significant development in the ongoing investigation into a shocking murder at the Wynberg Magistrates' Court, Western Cape Serious Violent Crime detectives have arrested two additional suspects, reports Cape town Etc .
The suspects, aged 23 and 34, were taken into custody in the Southern Suburbs during a focused operation on Thursday morning, 24 April 2025. This brings the total number of arrests related to the case to four.
The incident that sparked these arrests occurred just two weeks prior, when a 50-year-old man was fatally injured at the court premises, sending shockwaves through the community and raising concerns about safety in public spaces.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg confirmed the latest arrests, stating, The two suspects will appear in the Wynberg Magistrates' court on Friday 25 April 2025 on a charge of murder.
