Update:
The Provincial Health Department has confirmed that the death toll as a result of severe weather conditions in the Western Cape since last week has risen to six, Cape town Et c reports.
On 6 May, Knysna auxiliary social worker Lauren Fredericks passed away after a tree fell on her car as she was on her way to conduct assessments of residents who were evacuated due to severe weather conditions.
