Delays at the Lebombo Border gate with Mozambique have left truck drivers frustrated, with many queuing for more than 28 kilometres on the N4 in Hectorspruit. Some have been stuck in traffic for days, with no proper facilities such as toilets.
Meanwhile, authorities have urged motorists to exercise extra caution on the road due to the persistent rain in most parts of the province.
And at least one person died following a collision between a sedan, a minibus taxi and a truck on the N4 near Malelane Sunday morning.
