Points were shared in North London after a thrilling 2-2 draw between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. City looked in control for long spells, racing into a two-goal lead, but Spurs showed huge character to fight back and earn a vital point.
Manchester City started strongly and took the lead in the 10th minute when Rayan Cherki punished a loose Spurs pass with a stunning long-range strike. The visitors doubled their advantage just before half-time as Antoine Semenyo finished calmly after a brilliant assist from Bernardo Silva, sending City into the break 2-0 up.
Tottenham emerged with renewed energy in the second half and were rewarded in the 53rd minute. Dominic Solanke pulled one back after good work from Xavi Simons, giving the home fans belief. City had chances to restore their cushion, with Haaland and Reijnders going close, but they could not find the killer third goal.
