Horizon Aparthotel by Totalstay is now open on Cape Towns Atlantic Seaboard following its launch on May 1. Formerly a residential block, the building was acquired by Heriot REIT in 2024 and has since been converted into a 36-unit aparthotel.
It includes a mix of one- and two-bedroom units along with four two-bedroom penthouses. Each unit has a kitchenette and living area. Shared facilities include a restaurant and pool deck.
According to Rael Phillips , CEO of Totalstay, the property reflects a shift in how travellers are choosing to stay. Across our portfolio, were seeing sustained demand for accommodation that allows guests to stay longer and settle in more comfortably.
