The Tshwane Metro Police Department TMPD says it is shifting its focus to patrolling the inner-city and townships to held curb crime and lawlessness this Easter long weekend.
Traffic volumes have since eased on the N1 highway to Limpopo after thousands of holiday makers and ZCC pilgrims left the City for their various destinations.
The City of Tshwane has recently unveiled 24 new vehicles to strengthen policing this Easter.
