The South African National Blood Service SANBS is calling on people to donate blood.
Donor Relations Practitioner at the blood service, Mompati Sebogo, says they need more blood, especially at this time of the year when some road crashes increase.
Sebogo says they need about 3 500 units of blood on a daily basis.
