Three people have been shot and killed in Mkhuhlu, Mpumalanga. Two victims died at the scene after the car they were traveling in was riddled with a hail of bullets.
The third victim succumbed to his gunshot injuries at a local hospital.
Provincial Police Spokesperson, Donald Mdhluli, says, There were a lot of cartridges that were collected from the scene. The motive for the killing is unknown at this stage, and police have since launched a manhunt for the suspects. The victims have not yet been identified.
