Parents and teachers at Dingamanzi Primary School outside Giyani in Limpopo say shoddy workmanship by the contractor led to a ceiling collapsing on the learners on Tuesday.
Twenty-three learners sustained injuries, three of them were seriously hurt. The learners were treated and discharged from a local clinic and from Nkhensani Hospital in Giyani.
The school is being renovated to the tune of R15 million.
