Three people have died after a double-storey building collapsed in Doornkop in Soweto. Among the dead is a 1-year-old child and two women.
Three other people, who were trapped in the rubble, were successfully extricated and rushed to hospital.
According to the Johannesburg Emergency Services personnel six people were inside the building when it collapsed this morning. Upon arrival, three poeple were found trapped beneath the rubble.
