The Ultra Marathon in Cape Town has seen the participation of thousands of runners who took on the iconic 56km journey through the Southern Suburbs, False Bay coastline, Chapmans Peak and Constantia.
The Ultra Marathon is part of the Two Oceans Marathon week which runs over five days, attracting over 30 000 athletes to the Mother City.
General Manager of the Two Oceans Marathon, Wayde Bramfeild, says the marathon is a big achievement to those who take part.
