Tottenham Hotspur manager, Thomas Frank has confirmed that he doesn't want striker Mathys Tel to leave the club in the January transfer window, Softfootball reports.
The striker was omitted from Spurs Champions League squad as the manager preferred Richarlison and Dominic Solanke as his two forwards heading into the competition and has been proved right so far as Spurs sit in fifth on the 36-team UCL table with 14 points and on the verge of round of 16 qualification.
Speaking in an interview that was shared by football expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle , the Spurs manager insists on retaining the players currently at his disposal including Tel. He said:
