The 2025 Nedbank Cup final between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs will be broadcast live on SuperSport 202 and SABC1 TV channels as well as the SABC Plus streaming platform.

"We have noted a number of misinformation and inflammatory messages going around via social media platforms, with some people recruiting others to stage protests on our routes and around the stadium. With others vowing to force their way into the stadium without tickets, KZN Deputy Police Commissioner Phumelele Makoba said at a media briefing on Friday.

"Intelligence officers are at work identifying those individuals who are hell bent on creating chaos on the day of the match. The planning team had to revise the operational plans considering the possible and potential threats as advised by our intelligence teams."

Amakhosi and Buccaneers will be playing each other in a Nedbank Cup final for the first time since the bank started its sponsorship in 2008.
