The National Arts Festival continues in Makhanda in the Eastern Cape, inclusive of a literature festival by renowned authors. The Department of Sports, Recreation and Arts and Culture has injected R13 million into the Festival.
The much anticipated festival provides a platform for authors, crafts and other artists to showcase their work. A literature masterclass was also held as part of the three day literature festival where artists engaged with literature experts.
They say this opportunity will equip them with knowledge on how to commercialize their work.
