SABC Sport can confirm that Thapelo Morena will enter his 11th season with Mamelodi Sundowns after the club exercised the option in his contract.
Morena joined the Brazilians from Bloemfontein Celtic in 2016, shortly after Sundowns were crowned CAF Champions League winners under coach Pitso Mosimane.
Since then, the versatile player has become one of the clubs most dependable servants, making close to 350 appearances across all competitions while establishing himself as a key figure in one of the most successful eras in the clubs history.
