A 54-year-old Stellenbosch teacher was tragically killed in broad daylight near the main gate of a Kayamandi Primary School on Friday afternoon, leaving the community in shock, Cape town Etc reports.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg confirmed that the shooting occurred on Winnie Mandela Drive at approximately 1:10pm. Stellenbosch police registered a murder case for investigation following a shooting incident on Friday afternoon at a primary school where man was shot and fatally wounded, he said.
Authorities said the victim was found with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
