TAAG Angola Airlines took delivery of its second Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, under a leasing arrangement, at the new Dr Antnio Agostinho Neto International Airport at the beginning of this month.
The long-haul aircraft, registered as D2-TER, joins the B787-9, D2-TEQ, which operates the Luanda-So Paulo route. The new aircraft will improve capacity on intercontinental routes.
The aircraft has an initial configuration of 345 seats 282 in economy and 63 in premium economy. This could be reconfigured in the future.
