A suspect has been fatally wounded and 4 others arrested after they opened fire at the police in Hlalanikhahle near Vosman in eMalahleni, Mpumalanga .
The suspects were sought for several car hijackings.
Provincial Police Spokesperson Jabu Ndubane says police were informed about the suspects hideout. She says police pounced on them and they fled while shooting at the police.
