Ten suspects are expected to appear in the Beaufort West Magistrates Court on Monday after being arrested in the Central Karoo on charges of intimidation and extortion.
Police spokesperson, Chris Spies, says the case was reported to the Murraysburg Police Station.
Investigations revealed that in September this year, a group attended a meeting that a wind energy facility construction company hosted at a premises in Pastorie Street, Murraysburg.
