Super Falcons head coach, Justin Madugu, has issued an apology for Nigeria's profligacy in front of goal against Algeria, promising they'll make up in the WAFCON quarter-final against Zambia,
The 61-year-old opted to rotate his starting eleven as his side had already secured a quarter-final spot after winning their first two games in Group B.
The outcome of the decision saw the Super Falcons muster 24 shots on goal against the Algerians , with just two hitting the target.
Many criticised the players' attitude to the game, and rightly so, but their head coach came out to apologise, maintaining that such a mishap wouldn't be repeated.
