Super Eagles defender Ola Aina could return to action for Nottingham Forest just in time for their crucial English FA Cup game against Manchester City on Sunday,

Three weeks ago, Aina was forced off the pitch in the first half of Nottingham Forests 1-0 win over Manchester United. It was eventually confirmed that he had suffered a calf injury and that has kept him out of action since then.

He has missed the Tricky Trees last three games Aston Villa, Everton and Tottenham. Heading into the game against Spurs on Monday, coach Nuno Espirito Santo had given an inkling that the Super Eagles star was close to making his return. However, he did not make the matchday squad.
