Former African champions Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns were both in action on Friday as the 2025/26 CAF Inter-Club group stage campaign resumed.
Al Ahly showed why they are Africas most decorated football club with a record 12 Champions League titles as they claimed a 2-0 win over Young Africans at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria, Egypt.
It was a Champions League match which saw Mahmoud Trezeguet show his class as the veteran winger scored twice to inspire the Egyptian giants to a comfortable win over the Tanzanian champions.
