Mamelodi Sundowns have bowed out of the FIFA Club World Cup after a goalless draw with Fluminense at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Wednesday.
Masandawana ended their campaign with one win, one loss and one draw, racking up four points across their three group games.
Fluminense will move through to the round of 16 after finishing second in group F with five points, two points behind group winners Dortmund.
Sundowns had the better of the chances, registering three shots on target while Fluminense could not manage any. Masandawana also controlled the ball, enjoying 68 possession and completing 553 passes to Fluminenses 260.
Luca Ribeiro registered Sundowns first shot on target in the sixth minute with a long range effort which was easily stopped by Fluminense goalkeeper Fbio.
