Real Madrid forward, Kylian Mbappe has filed a lawsuit against his former club, Paris Saint-Germain, for attempted extortion and also trying to force him to sign a new contract in 2023 by banning him from training with the squad.
According to Le Parisien, a judicial investigation has been opened following a complaint from the France captain for moral harassment.
The complaint, which was filed on 16th May, targets PSG's handling of the 26-year-olds situation in the summer of 2023, when he was excluded from the first-team squad.
However, two investigating magistrates have now been assigned to the case.
The investigation formally opened on Tuesday.
