Agriculture Minister John Steenhuisen says the Foot and Mouth Disease inoculation campaign continues to gather pace with the arrival of two-million additional Dollvet vaccines.
The latest shipment comes as more than 5.4-million cattle have now been vaccinated nationwide with the Free State becoming the first province to surpass one-million vaccinations.
Steenhuisen has also welcomed progress in local vaccine production after the Agricultural Research Council bottled 20 000 vaccines earlier this month with an additional 20 000 due month end.
