Startale Group , the blockchain company behind the Soneium network , just landed another 13 million from the Sony Innovation Fund. This isnt Sonys first bet on Startale its a deeper move that tightens the partnership between these two Japanese tech players.
With this new Series A funding, Sony is showing its still involved in Web3 tech, especially where blockchain meets entertainment, digital assets, and whatever comes next.
Sony already backed Startale with 3.5 million in September 2023 and put in another 3.5 million earlier this year. That brings Startales total public funding to around 20 million.
