The National Communication Authority NCA has established a Gateway Services and Data Center Oversight Committee following a high-level meeting chaired by its Director General, Mr. Rizig Dominic Samuel, with mgi communications ag MGI.
The committee is mandated to strengthen governance, accountability, and institutional control over South Sudan's gateway services and national data center infrastructure. Its work will focus on improving regulatory oversight while ensuring that operations align with national sovereignty and security priorities.
Key areas of focus include the digitization of revenue streams from the South Sudan International Gateway SSIGW and the modernization of existing infrastructure to support the country's broader digital transformation agenda. These measures are expected to enhance transparency, efficiency, and sustainability across the communications sector.
