South African jazz legend Abdullah Ibrahim, who won global acclaim through his music career that spanned more than seven decades, has died at the age of 91 following a brief illness.
Ibrahim was surrounded by family when he passed away peacefully in Germany, his family said in a statement on Monday 15 June.
