Deputy Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture Peace Mabe has confirmed that South Africa will be taking over from Morocco to host the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations WAFCON, with only 60 days from kickoff.
Mabe says South Africa was presented with the opportunity and took it by the horns.
Mabe adds, We have the necessary infrastructure our stadiums are well maintained. We have recently held a very successful G20 Conference here in South Africa, So, yes, we are ready.
