The highly anticipated Untied episode that features former minister Malusi Gigabas ex-wife Norma Mngoma will drop on Showmax on Tuesday, 15 July 2025.
This follows the Johannesburg high courts dismissal of Gigabas bid to interdict MultiChoice and Showmax from broadcasting the episode.
Untied features several famous women sharing their divorce experiences. Multi-award-winning broadcaster Relebogile Mabotja is its host.
Gigaba and Mngoma were once a high-profile couple in South Africas political scene. However, they had a public fallout that resulted in her testifying against him at the state capture commission of inquiry.
Police also arrested her in 2020 for alleged malicious damage to property, reportedly for damaging Gigabas vehicle. The state withdrew the charges in 2021.
Showmax to stream Norma Mngomas Untied episodeGigaba sought an interdict after the shows producers, GOAT Originals, approached him for his right-of-reply comments on Mngomas allegations.
In the show, Mngoma alleges that the ex-minister was addicted to pornography during the time they were together. She also claims he was involved in extramarital affairs, a habit he inherited from his late father who was a priest.
She further claims she and Gigaba lived an extravagant lifestyle at taxpayers expense and that he was involved in her 2020 arrest.
The shows trailer, which is available to watch on YouTube , also shows Mngoma making comments such as Gigaba lied until the day the video was leaked and when I actually pulled a knife on him.
Gigaba, who currently serves as chairperson of Parliaments joint standing committee on defence, however failed to obtain the interdict.
