Lekompo artist Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, commonly known as Shebe Maburna or Shebeshxt, has lost yet another bail application at the Polokwane magistrates court and will thus remain behind bars.
Magistrate Godfrey Netshiozwi dismissed Shebeshxts bid in a ruling on Thursday 30 April. The popular musician had filed a fresh application based on new facts after his previous application was dismissed in December. The Rato Laka hitmaker also lost his urgent appeal at the Polokwane high court in January.
Shebeshxt loses bail bid despite new factsIn his application, Shebeshxt cited new facts, including a medical condition. However, Magistrate Netshiozwi ruled that the condition was not serious enough because the artist had not made any request or complaint to prison officials in that regard.
