ServiceNow has announced an expanded collaboration with Anthropic to integrate Claude models into core ServiceNow workflows, enabling more intelligent and autonomous business processes across functions such as application development, healthcare, and life sciences. The integration is designed to help enterprises build, deploy, and govern AI-powered agentic automation from a unified platform.
Claude is now the default model for ServiceNow Build Agent, supporting developers of all skill levels to create and operationalize complex workflows that can reason, act, and execute autonomously. The capabilities extend to Claude Code, which enhances engineering productivity by assisting with coding, debugging, and automation tasks. Internally, ServiceNow has deployed these tools to more than 29,000 employees, resulting in up to a 95 reduction in seller preparation time and notable improvements in internal engineering efficiency.
As organisations increasingly adopt AI across departments, ServiceNow's platform offers unified governance, compliance monitoring, and usage control through its AI Control Tower. The partnership with Anthropic aims to deliver tangible customer benefits, including faster application development through natural language prompts, reduced implementation timelines, and tailored agentic workflows for mission-critical industries. By embedding Claude into its AI ecosystem, ServiceNow seeks to accelerate enterprise AI adoption while maintaining high levels of oversight and reliability.
