On-leave Police Minister Senzo Mchunu will begin his much-awaited testimony at the Madlanga commission on Tuesday, 2 December 2025.

Besides Mchunu, the commission will also hear testimony this week from former Ekurhuleni city manager Dr Imogen Mashazi and Julius Mkhwanazi, the suspended deputy chief of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department.
The commission added that more witnesses are expected to appear before Friday as it works to finalise its interim findings.
