The ANC and its leagues - Youth League ANCYL, Veterans League and Womens League - have rallied behind President Cyril Ramaphosa following reports that there is a plot to remove him from office.

The party emphasised that it remains united under Ramaphosa and condemned malicious reporting, which it said is aimed at fostering discord within our ranks.
No amount of gossip-driven journalism or anonymous speculation will deflect the ANC from rebuilding itself as an effective instrument of transformation, it said.
