The Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy has announced the official launch of the Interoperable Instant Payment Platform PI-SPI, a system developed by OCEAO to enable instant money transfers between all financial institutions within the UEMOA region.
Unveiled on Tuesday, September 30, in the presence of Minister Alioune Sall, the PI-SPI platform allows seamless 24/7 transfers across banks and financial institutions, making it a cornerstone of the government's NewDealTechnology strategy.
According to the Ministry, the platform will serve as the technical backbone of e-payment systems, supporting the creation of a modern, transparent, and efficient administration.
